V-joint

(V-groove) A pattern applied to tongue and groove lumber in which the edges of the pieces are clamped so that a v-shaped groove is formed on the surface where the 2 pieces meet

Veneer log

A log used in the manufacture of veneer "a peeler" (plywood)
